Candidate Statement:

"I’m running for Oakmont Council to serve fellow residents and preserve Oakmont’s livability. I would like to explore options and ideas to increase Oakmont’s sustainability, with respect to renewable resources and increasing green spaces. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and pledge to listen to resident’s ideas and concerns. I bring a unique blend of skills and characteristics to Borough Council. I’m organized and focused. I ask the tough questions others may hesitate to raise. I’m detail-oriented. I make decisions based on facts. I’m able to hold ideas in tension – to look at the both/and rather than the either/or. I’m skilled in guiding discussions and helping groups reach consensus on difficult issues. I believe serving one’s community can be fun, and I would also like to bring good humor and positivity to Council proceedings. "
