Candidate Statement:

"When we moved to Oakmont in 2017, there were 2 reasons. We wanted a better, safer commute for my spouse and an active school district for our son. Over the past 5 years, we have been witness to the personal growth opportunities available in the Riverview School District. In my years guiding college students from their first year of undergraduate study to earning PhDs, I have seen the impact of preparation, co-curricular, extra-curricular and human development on their success. These areas are impacted by the foundational PreK-12 experience.

The choice to run for School Board Director comes down to ideals around the letter E. Equitable and Engaging opportunities supported by Efficiency and transparency to create an Educational Environment where Everyone can thrive. "
