Candidate Statement:

"I am running for re-election to the school board to continue the work that I have been doing for the last three and half years. While a first-time board member I contributed to and accomplished several initiatives, including; hiring and transitioning the district to a new superintendent, navigating the complexities of COVID-19, hiring many new quality teachers, paraprofessionals, coaches, and other personnel including an Assistant Principal of the High School and Athletic Director. I worked to enhance our district’s communications channels, including; adding a Twitter account, consistently updating our website, ensuring timely email communications and creating consistency in our academic and athletic brands and guidelines. My priority continues to be ensuring we provide the highest quality of education and extracurricular activities to our children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have worked tirelessly to spread the good news of all that we have to offer at Riverview and am thrilled to see our student population growing! There is much more to accomplish; therefore, I would be honored to serve our district’s families, teachers, staff and the communities of Oakmont and Verona for another four years. Thank you for your consideration. "
